Dr. John Keith Nylund, MD

Dr. Nylund is slowly retiring and is being replaced by Dr. Wu who is WONDERFUL. He is all there for you. He is friendly but most of all, he is quite efficient. Without reservation I recommend him very highly.

Extremely knowledgable, compassionate .. Beautiful office.. I felt very comfortable during my entire procedure.. Received follow up the next day from Dr Nylund on my biopsy result. He spent 30 minutes on the phone answering all my questions.. Also received follow up before the weekend from his nurse Jackie in cas I needed anything over the holiday and a cell number to the doctor.

Dr. Nylund is a fabulous dermatologist. His appmt. desk isn't. Even for existing patients, the waiting time is generally 1 week - emergency or not - or one is offered an appmt. with the doctor's assistant.

I've been going to Dr. Nylund for the last 5 years based on a friend's recommendation. I couldn't be more pleased with the quality of service provided, from top to bottom. and would highly recommend this office. Dr. Nylund is extremely professional while having excellent "bedside" manners. He spends the time to explain in detail the issue at hand, the recommended procedure, and shows genuine concern for your well-being. In addition, I've had two cancerous lesions removed from my face and the scarring has been minimal due to his skills. His nurse, Jackie, is also extremely knowledgable and brings a wonderful levity to any appointment. Finally, the office staff is very efficient from scheduling to working through any billing questions and in any dealings with a pharmacist (for example, Jackie saved me a lot of money for one skin cancer treatment). I have had nothing but good experiences with this office.

Eventhough my primary insurance is with an HMO, I have seen Dr. Nylund a number of times on my own dime for cosmetic procedures (Botox , different fillers, and laser). The results have been well beyond any expections I anticipated. I did realize two small bruises at the corners of my mouth, that were easily touched up with makeup and disappeared completely in two days. I am entirely satisfied with the subtle lift and disappearance of frown lines. No one knows that I have any "work done" only that I look refreshed; the secret is between me, Dr. Nylund, and his amazing staff.

Being of Irish background, I have had numerous BCC's treated by several doctors. Dr. Nylund was recommended by my internist. He said he and his family have been patients of Dr Nylund's for many years. I called the office and scheduled a consultation. I'd had my complete set of records sent prior to my initial appointment. I arrived 15 minutes before my appointment time as requested and signed in. I was greeted by my name and told that Dr Nylund had received my records and had personally spoken to my referring internist. Indeed, Dr Nylund had already reviewed all my records and spent a full 45 minutes with me patiently answering all my questions. He did a biopsy on a suspicious lesion and indicated that he would call me with result. The following evening he called me personally and discussed the results and treatment options. I understand that Dr Nylund personally calls every patient with their biopsy and laboratory result. In all my years i have never had a doctor call.… Either I have to call and maybe get an assistant say its fine or make an appointment to come back if I have any questions, I found Dr Nylund to be very professional and at the same time sensitive and personal. His support staff have been with him a long time and are helpful, warm and extremely efficient. In addition he followed up with my internist and coordinated my treatment.

I went to see Dr. Nylund to have a discolored nail examined. His work and ethic is very professional while his demeanor is friendly and pleasant. Dr. Nylund sat me down and talked me through the entire process that way I knew exactly what he was while he was doing it. He explained how the discoloration could be caused either by trauma or fungal infection but due to the fact I've no history of fungus, it was probably caused by me biting my nails (guilty pleasure). As a precaution, Dr. Nylund took a sample from the nail and a few days later I received a follow-up phone call with my results (nail tested negative for fungus). Since then I've gone to Dr. Nylund to help me manage my Hyper-Hydrosis and to heal my old acne scars. The entire process is always enjoyable; Dr. Nylund is absolutely great at what he does, and thatâ??s Dermatology. I would recommend him to anyone looking for the best results.

Dr. Nylund is very nice and professional and the nurse that works with him (Jackie) I believed is her name is pretty but she needs to work on her attitude when answering phone calls about billing questions. Didnt like her tone of voice sound upset and annoyed by my questions and was not happy answering the phone call. Otherwise its a nice office too.

I went to Dr. Nylund once to have a few suspicious spots removed. His office staff was very unfriendly! Dr. Nylund was very good, spent time with me, and explained things. I called a couple of months later for another appointment, and the female staff person who responded to my call was rude and downright nasty! His staff need a serious attitude adjustment. I canceled my appointment, won't go back, and just booked with a different dermatologist.
