Medical Record Accuracy and Communication Concerns I have ongoing concerns regarding the accuracy of my medical record. Diagnoses that I believe were incorrect remained in my chart even after I raised concerns and requested review. Because medical records can affect future treatment, referrals, and insurance matters, this was very troubling to me. I also found communication during visits to be tense and difficult, which made it hard to have an open, objective discussion about my concerns. Rather than feeling like a collaborative partnership, I often felt focused on managing the tone of the interaction instead of addressing the medical issues. Accurate records and respectful communication are essential parts of patient care. Unfortunately, my concerns have not been resolved to my satisfaction, and this significantly affected my trust in the process. I encourage patients to carefully review their visit notes, diagnoses, and summaries in the patient portal, and to promptly request… clarification or corrections if something appears inaccurate.

I do take issue with an item I see listed on the visit's notes from physician. There is a list of items discussed during visit and there is one that states a discussion of "alcohol problem." After 50+ years of no alcohol use in my life, in my opinion there is a zero problem with it. I would like that notation removed from MyChart as it definitely does not apply and there was no discussion of an alcohol "problem" as there is not one. In an area of the check-in questionnaire it states that I have 1-2 drinks daily, not true, should be an option for zero daily. I just like things to be stating what is true for other providers that may have access to MyChart. Thanks...

My experience with this physician has been outstanding. He greets patients with a handshake, makes direct eye contact, and is thoroughly prepared for each visit. He never appears rushed, is highly professional yet personable, and takes the time to answer questions thoughtfully, ensuring they are fully understood. He clearly explains any medical concerns and communicates with care and respect.

Our PCP, Dr. Obert-Hong, is the best PCP one could ever wish for- in EVERY way.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Hong for several years, since he joined the clinic. He came here as one of the most respected and trusted doctors, and I’ve always appreciated his knowledge, professionalism, and care. What is difficult for my ongoing care is that he has seems depressed. I share this with genuine respect and concern — not criticism — because I know how dedicated he is to his patients. I truly hope he gets the support and rest he deserves. He’s an excellent physician, and many of us value him and wish him well.

I went three previous doctors who could not figure out why I was sick. Dr. Obert-Hong told me what he thought and ran tests to confirm it. He start me on medication and I am feeling so much better. I made appointments for my parents to see him.

I Needed a new primary care physician because mine retired. Read the ratings and made an appointment with Dr. Hong. This morning is the second week in a row his office called to cancel and reschedule my my appointment. When I told the scheduler that this was the second week in a row this happened and she offered for me to come in and see one of his assistants. What a bogus outfit. Don’t bother calling because having an appointment means nothing to them.

I pleaded with him to help me. He wouldn't. This was my last straw with Dupage Medical Group. After, I went to Loyola. They were far more supportive. They did more tests. Something was wrong with my liver.

Never had an issue getting an appt. Staff is professional and polite. Dr. Obert Hong is by far the best dr. that I've ever had. In fact, I recruited my husband to see him as well. He is very caring and knowledgable. He takes the time to problem solve instead of referring out right away. Highly recommend, coming from a FNP :)

After months of looking for a new physician within my HMO, I was referred to Dr. Obert-Hong by a good friend. He is a wonderful doctor, who is very caring and compastionate about his patients. I feel very comfortable with Dr. Obert-Hong and trust him. His staff is exceptional. They are courteous and helpful any time.
