Dr.Oberti was born in Fresno.  He attended local schools and graduated from San Joaquin Memorial High School in 1967. He received a B.S. in biology from the University of Santa Clara in 1971, then completed one year of post graduate  biology at San Jose State University in 1972. He has been in private practice in Fresno since receiving his DDS degree from the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in 1975. Dr. Oberti is also involved with west side family farming operations.
He is a member of the California and American Dental Associations, and is a member and former Director of the Fresno-Madera Dental Society. Dr. Oberti has also served as a board member of the Clovis Chamber of Commerce and Rotary Playland of Fresno. Â He is Past President of Our Lady of Perpetual Help School board and the San Joaquin Memorial Boosters Club. He served as a National Trusteee of Ducks Unlimited and was the President of the Clovis Ducks Unlimited chapter for …20 years. He is a Past President and 34 year active member of the East Fresno Rotary Club, and is a Past President and current member of the Dante Club of Fresno.
