Dr. John Jeongkun Oh, MD

I have been going to Dr. Oh for many years and I have recommended him to friends who go to him. He has never been anything but kind and caring. He is a gentleman. He always addresses my concerns and never makes me feel rushed or patronized. He always returns my calls as soon as he can and he personally calls to speak to me when giving my results of tests. One rating repeated several times to bring down his average rating is sophomoric and I don't appreciate one person speaking for all of his patients. We can speak for ourselves and I am personally very happy and appreciative to have Dr. Oh as my PCP. His office staff is always pleasant and always try to fit me into his tight schedule filled with many satisfied patients. Lastly, I always feel better after speaking to him. He is so reassuring and always makes me at ease. My B/P is always good when I visit his office.

Don’t waste your time going to a doctor who will talk down to you and belittle you. Just for trying to explain your health situation. He is condescending and rude.

I have gone do Dr. Oh for years and have nothing but good things to say about him. It seems that most of the negative reviews are for some scheduling or some office issue but i can say as a doctor, John Oh is top notch. Horrible doctor that shows little respect to his patients or any other health care provider! He is in it to just take your money and not give you care! There are plenty of other doctors that are far better than him!! Please I urge you not to waste your time with him!!!

Eighteen years ago, I had an undiagnosed condition for a year that the many doctors that evaluated me could not come to any conclusions. After seeing Dr. Oh in two days he not only had a diagnosis but referred me to the correct specialist. I was able to gain my life back and gained John Oh as my primary doctor. Dr. Oh, is a caring and kind person. I have full confidence in his medical care.

Dr. John Oh is an excellent doctor. He is caring, takes time to listen, and helps find solutions. He returns my calls quickly and calls the following day with test results. He asks about other of my family members and sees me as a person, not just a patient. I have been seeing him for several years and recommend him to anyone who is seeking an excellent family physician.

He has been my doctor for 13 years. He is a good listener and takes his time with you. He does a great job in explaining test results. I highly recommend him.

I have been a patient of Dr. John Oh for at least 10 years. I stick with him because he cares about me the person and me the patient. He has consistently been responsive to my concerns, questions, and observations. Dr. Oh listens, suggests, and discusses my diet, exercise, and medicine routines in order to be healthy. Occasionally he has changed medicines because of studies he has read. I actually look forward to my appointments with Dr. Oh.

He is an awful doctor and I do not recommend him to anyone. I have complained to him about stomach pains for 2 years and he has always brushed it off and implied that I was being overly sensitive. Three days after my regular visit, I was rushed to the emergency room and was diagnosed with appendicitis, which is actually very simple to diagnose. He happened to be in the hospital I was in and walked in, surprised to see me there. He took a look at my surgery and asked how long I've these stomach pains. The same stomach pains I've been complaining to him about for 2 years! He never apologized. He just walked out. He just did not have the patience to listen, which says a lot about him as a professional. He rushes people out the door and tries to squeeze in as many patients throughout the day, which does not give much of a doctor -to-patient relationship. If you want a doctor to take his time with you, he is not the doctor for you because he does not care for you nor does he have the… patience to listen to your problems or concerns. He was so busy driving his patients in and out the door, he forgot to give my mother her flu shot. He just checked her blood pressure and told her that she was fine. She came back realizing she had not received her shot. He immediately slammed the door in exasperation, sighed, and then STABBED her with the shot, leaving her with a bruise and nearly in tears. I have never seen such disrespect or lack of care from someone of his professional career. What is worse is that he preys on the Korean foreigners who cannot speak proper English by having them rely on him to know what he is doing, when he clearly does not. This man does not care for his patients. He just sees them as his bank account. If I could, I would more than happily give him no stars. I have never been so disappointed in someone before that I feel it is my obligation to turn the public away from this poor excuse of a man.
