I had to prepare myself mentally for every move I made. "Economy of motion" was my motto. I mentally made a list of several things I would do as I made my painful journey to the restroom or kitchen. Then, Dr. Osland replaced my knees, and I returned to an active and useful life. I am very grateful. Last spring, my husband and I walked a trail in England to Sudley Castle. It took all morning, but would have been impossible before surgery. If you are thinking about doing this, don't put it off!

Dr. Osland listened to me and I felt he sincerely cared about me as a person, not just another ninety-one years of age that was over the hill and not much could be done to alleviate a knee problem. He put forth three solutions which no other orthopedic doctor had suggested. .. and I had sought advice from more than a few. He is a wonderful human being as well as a superior physician.

He did both of my carpal tunnel releases in 2017. Awakening from the first one I hear the anesthetist say 'Hey, that's a record, only took you 12 minutes.' Hmmm, that's not good, I thought. And the scar pretty much proves that it wasn't good. Don't know how long the next one took but the recovery was much worse and the scar from the incision is terrible looking. Sports medicine? More like War medicine. So happy to hear he moved on. Bedside manner...wooden

Unfortunately living in a small town you don't have many choices for optimal treatment and therefore have to take what you can get.

He did my daughter's sport injury - ACL reconstruction, and another daughter's fat pad trim. We are impressed with his quiet demeanor and confidence, and knowledge of the knee.

Dr. Osland did two knee scopes for me in 2009 and most recently a TKR for my left knee. I have recovered very rapidly and I'm in outpatient PT for 4 weeks more.The Doctor is very thorough, empathetic and listens well to my concerns.I recommend him to anyone needing orthopedic care and surgery.His P.A. Dave Reinsch is also very knowledgeable and a great advisor to consult.

I had a knee replacement and it went extremely well. It was amazing how fast I recovered. I also had a broken shoulder which Dr. Osland repaired and it too has done very well. I have full range of motion and does not give me any problems
