Comfort and convenience are the hallmarks of the office of Dr. Otrhalek. Woods Dentistry is conveniently located in the Metro Detroit area on Vernier Road west of I-94. All of our patients receive our professional team's undivided attention in private operatories that are equipped with modern technology. Our office has state-of-the-art sterilization techniques and our hygienists utilize ultra sonic equipment for hygiene cleanings. We use air abrasion (drill free) for some restorations, laser fluorescence equipment to diagnose decay, Vizilite oral cancer screening and intra-oral photography.
For your convenience, we are WI-FI wireless for direct access to the internet and we have a children only area in our reception room. We are also handicap accessible. During treatment, for relaxation, we offer CD player with head phones and nitrous oxide for your comfort and a blanket if necessary. John Otrhalek, DDS, is well known for his painless injections. we take the time at Woods Dentistry to …do it right. In case of an emergency, all of our staff are trained in basic life support.

Appointments
We have made requesting an appointment a simple process via our web site. As Dr. Otrhalek is an expert in restorative and cosmetic dentistry we ask that you contact our office at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled appointment if you need to make any changes. That provides an opportunity for any patients who can only come in during set days and times to be seen in your place. Emergency patients are seen the same day during office hours at Dr. Otrhalek's office. Because we see emergency patients on the same day, infrequently we run slightly behind. We ask for your patience as one day that courtesy may have to be extended to you. Depending on the circumstance, John Otrhalek, DDS, will see patients after hours.
Insurance and Billing
Our office accepts most traditional insurance plans, contact our office to verify acceptance of your plan. Full payment is due at the time of service unless prior arrangements have been made. If treatment requires multiple visits, payment may be divided over the number of appointments. We accept cash, checks, Visa, MasterCard, and Discover. For co-pay charges over $500 we offer a 5 %courtesy for full cash payment made in advance.
