A Diplomat of the American Board of Orthodontics since 1988, Dr. Oubre feels it is important to stay on the cutting-edge of orthodontics. Thus, he maintains memberships in many prestigious professional organizations to keep up-to-date on the latest techniques and technology. He has been a member of the American Association of Orthodontics since 1982, and he is a past president of the Louisiana Association of Orthodontics. He is currently in the Roth Study Group and a member of Roth Williams International Society of Orthodontics.
In his personal life, Dr. Oubre is married to Jeannie Wedemeyer who also has her dental degree. They have five children: Michael, Matthew, Thomas, Olivia and James. Away from the …office, Dr. Oubre enjoys playing golf and participating in his children’s many activities.
