Dr. Owens showed true caring while performing my medical test. He was personable and explained the entire procedure. Very professional and cares about his patients.

I was scheduled to see the P.A. but since I'm Medicare I was told I had to see the Dr. first. So glad I did. I really like him. He was professional and kind, yet has a great sense of humor. Takes a little longer to see him, but worth it. Nice people in the office too!

Dr. Owens has been my doctor since I was 15. When I was 21 I had a bad pap. I went back for a biopsy and met Laura for the first time. She was horrible. I went back for the results with my mother (who also sees Owens/Laura) and she couldn't believe how rude she was to me. She also told me I had an STD. I told her it was impossible and she said I must have been drunk when I was sleeping with men then. A week later I got my biopsy results in the mail. It stated everything came back NEGATIVE! I switched obgyn's for a second opinion just to make sure. My pap was normal and all was good. I had my 1st born with my new ob. We began trying for #2 without success. Went back to my ob and I didn't feel comfortable anymore. I went back to Dr. Owens, with special instructions to never to see Laura. He was thorough. It took awhile for a game plan but I liked that he checked everything before we moved on to the next step. He found both my husband and I have infertility issues. He put me on clomid… and IUI. I got pregnant the 3rd try! After 3 years trying to conceive he did it! He also let me birth how I wanted. He knows a laboring women knows what to do and how to do it. He let me labor without IV's or 24/7 monitoring. We got pregnant with my third a few years later. It was a surprise! Dr. Owens was awesome yet again and he let me labor the same. When I went into l&d in labor I was only a 4. They got him on the phone and he said for me to go home because I usually take awhile and I'd be more comfortable there. I told him no I can't I'll have my baby at home if I do. He said fine labor in the hospital. I was complete and pushing within an hour of getting to the hospital. They called Dr. O and he said "I had a feeling I'm already on my way". He knows what he's doing! He takes everything into consideration including what his patients likes & dislikes. The only negative thing is now he is bombarded! He has way too many pregnant patients. I feel he should cut how many patients he has in half and focus on them. He's super busy and has hardly any time to talk during visits. He used to ask if there were any questions and sit on his little stool. Now he asks if there's any questions while walking towards the door.

I have had a less then pleasant experience with Dr. Owens. Although his assistant Joy is outstanding, it does not make up for the lack of compassion I felt while at Dr. Owens office. My husband and I have been trying to conceive and have been having tests ran. Dr. Owens tried to talk me out of a diagnostic procedure claiming it was "very painful" and he felt I didn't need it done and that we should continue trying to conceive (for a year, although we have been trying for 6 months already). I had to plead with him for it be done. I have been waiting for results for lab tests and cannot get an answer regarding those labs which the results were returned the next day (according to the lab they were obtained). I wouldn't recommend this office for anyone who is trying to conceive or suffers from infertility.

Dr. Owens and his staff are excellent. Excellent bedside manner, friendly, courteous, and outgoing. They really go above and beyond. Dr. Owens performed my last c-section and I healed much quicker than with my previous two (with other providers). Most recently, Dr. Owens performed a very successful endometrial ablation procedure. I love that I get a prompt personal phone call from either Dr. Owens or Laura with test results or to check on me. I could just sing their praises all day.

I really like Dr. John Owens... He has delivered both of my kids and I'm still going to him... I am on baby number 3 and he is there for everything I need....

I would highly recommend Dr. Owens. He is genuinely caring and proficient. His staff is also very helpful. I actually switched from another local provider to Dr. owens and the difference was night and day. I am expecting again and will be returning to Dr. Owens for my care.
