Dr. John L Patten, DO

I had a cough for a year and ended up with pneumonia and bacterial meningitis. He didn't know in was in the hospital until all of the requests for more tests came across his desk.

Dr. Patten is a caring, knowledgeable physician who sees his patients as a whole person, not just a diagnosis. His use of Osteopathic Manipulation, which is like what a chiropractor does, helps to relieve pain without narcotics. I recommend him to people who would benefit from his expertise.

I have been seeing Dr. Patten for at least five years. My experience has been excellent. He is careful to answer all my questions and spend as much time with me as I need. He is part of a very busy Federally Qualified Health Center which means occasional long waits (and I emphasize occasional). I recommend Dr. Patten with no reservations.

Every time I go to see Dr. Patten then it takes way too long to see him. You sit in the waiting room for 45 min. to an hour then when you finally get called into the exam room then you have to wait another 45 min. to an hour and one time they forgot about me but because I was on sleep medication then I fell a sleep and everyone was wondering where I had been. This is unexceptable. I hate to get another doc because I like him but the wait is just too long, especially when your impatient.
