Dr. John Rigby Patterson

It takes 45 min to 1.5 hrs waiting on phone to talk to whoever she is that only takes a limiited amount of detail..

My mother is obviously addicted to pain pills and runs out of both of them early every few weeks. She has to go pick them up from him like a dealer after her few days of not moving from her chair because she's out of one or the other. Not like she moves much anyway. She is so tired all the time, never sleeps at night so she sleeps all day in a chair. Thank God she hasn't burned the house down with a cigarette yet. Not sure how that hasn't happened, every one of her blankets has burn holes in it. I wish this doctor would have listened last time I addressed him about this. She used to be a normal loving mother, now I'm not sure who she is. She's in her mid 50's but the way she acts sometimes it's like she's 5. Or 90, drugged with dementia. Thank you Dr. Patterson. Really. If you want to keep giving her the pills make a room at your house for her.

My family has been seeing Dr. Patterson since we moved to the valley over 7 years ago. We always can get into see him quickly, but the one complaint I have is the time it takes to actually get a live person to talk to on the phone to make the appointment. You have to wait what seems like forever and navigate your way through various electronic prompts. But Dr. Patterson is a great person-- very caring and attentive. I'd definitely recommend his services and those of his PA. Never had a bad experience there.

I have a family member that has been a patient of this doctor for years. My family member has a problem with pain pills and my family member loves him because he continues to just hand them out like candy. I think my family member should definitely be monitored more with her medication. I know he knows that the pills are way too much and taken more than prescribed most of the time. He's an enabler.

Dr. Patterson has been my physician for about ten years. He is an absolutely outstanding doctor. When my husband and I retired as educators last year we made sure to choose our HMO insurance plan based on the fact that we were able to keep Dr. Patterson as our primary care provider. I believe my husband and I are fortunate to have one of the best doctors in the southeast valley!
