Dr. John Lloyd Phillips, DDS

I came for my first root canal and was riddled with anxiety and fear. Having dental work is a very intimidating experience, but their amazing staff took great care of me! I walked in and was greeted with smiles (mind you, this is at 0700) and cheery greetings. The paperwork was simple, and I only waited 5 minutes before I was taken into a room. Dr. Phillips sensed my anxiety and was very understanding and patient, answering all of my questions thoroughly. Dr. Phillips was very gentle with the anesthetic injection, and made sure the anesthetic had adequate time to take affect before beginning, so I didn't feel any pain. During the procedure, he walked me through everything he was doing, even inserting a few jokes to make me feel at ease. If you're not the chatty type, they allow you to bring your iPod and listen to music, or let you watch T.V. Afterwards, he massaged my jaw after he took the bite block out to help loosen the joints. All in all, this way by far the most… hassle-free and, dare I say pleasant dental experience I've ever had.
