I sought a second opinion from Dr.John Poneros after an unhappy experience with my initial stent placement.Dr.John Poneros thoroughly reviewed my medical reports, explained my options clearly, and safely removed the stent the following week without complications.His entire team was exceptional. The young man George, who scheduled my procedure was incredibly patient and helpful.On the day of the procedure, the anesthesiologist and the rest of the team walked me thoroughly.After the successful procedure, Dr Poneros checked on me twice while I was drowsy to reassure me that everything went well and no new stent was needed.And that was a blessing. I also want to thank Donald.Garmon, the nurse practitioner, for his thoroughness and excellent patient- nurse practitioner relationship. Lastly, a special thanks to George for coming up to the 13th floor to check on me before I left the hospital. Thank you for everyone that was caring for my well-being.
