Dr. John R Provenzano, MD

I went to see the DDS for removal of molar #31. Six months later had a bone splitter and went to see him. It was polking through the gum. He flicked it off with a probe in 3 minutes and I left with him saying no charge. He billed me later after saying no charge. This Dr. has no ethics!!!!!!!!!!!

My daughter was anxious going in, but Dr. Provezano made her feel comfortable and had 3 wisdom teeth out in 45 min. Most of that was making her comfortable and pain free. Would recommend his service to anyone. 5 stars

After meeting this arrogant S.O.B. I didn't even want him near me! Honestly 1 star is being way too generous! Has a horrible personality, absolutely no bedside manner whatsoever, thinks he is GOD's gift to the world and dentistry... completely unprofessional and belittles patients! Save your health, time, and money now and go elsewhere!

He is professional. Gets right to numbing the specific area, waits for it to take affect, and extracts the tooth in minutes. No pain. Office staff friendly. I have gone to him for at least 3 extractions.

Dr. Provenzano placed dental implants in my mouth (upper front) several years ago and now I have significant bone loss at the sight of the implants and the two teeth that are adjacent to them. I have been told by three different specialists that the implants Dr. Provenzano placed are the direct cause of my bone loss. The implants are too large, too close together, and they were expired at the time of placement. Sometime in the near future, the implants must be removed and replaced....but not until I undergo extreme bone and gum grafting. I am also likely to lose each tooth on either side of the implants. This will unfortunately cost me thousands of dollars (approx $20k) and physical distress. Anyone who has undergone bone and gum grafting, in addition to implants, can relate. I would never recommend Dr. Provenzano for any dental work for anyone in any circumstance. He’s not only unethical, but he is a crook who is not interested in bettering the lives of his patients.

The whole office treats patiences poorly, once I got in the Doctor wouldn't even help me. He treated me very poorly, and rushed me out. I would Not recommend

Dr. Provenzano was referred to me by our Orthodontist. I googled and read reviews. I'm a nurse so I also asked around all telling me he was very good. At the consultation, he was very laid back and casual, not your typical office visit but my two teenagers liked him. He offered local or sedation. We chose local due to costs of having both kids' wisdom teeth removed. On the day, I called regretting the choice but was reassured by staff who were very informative and kind. My teens were placed in rooms beside each other and they allowed us parents to be in the rooms throughout the procedure. I was surprised at how the staff calmed my anxious kids- the Laughing has helped. They did great and Dr. Provenzano was quick as well as humorous. My teens laughed and later said it wasn't bad. We received a kit with detailed instructions, prescriptions, gauze and their teeth- they elected to keep. By the time we had both settled at home we received a phone call by Dr. Provenzano himself checking on… how they were doing. I would and have recommended him to others.Â
