Dr. John Parr Pruett, DDS

Awful staff, unprofessional, gets up and leaves the room to take personal calls leaving my mouth open and can’t close at all because he shoves a piece of hard rubber in there. His staff is under appreciated , under paid, and his wife comes into the office with her nose stuck so high up in the air and tries to tell the front office reseptionist how to do her job in front of the clients. I will never go back and I wouldn’t recommend him to my friends or worst enemies.

He is a wonderful Doctor. His back office staff is exceptional. Although I noticed this last time I was there, the best girl isn't around. She is truly missed. The lady up front is very educated and good at what she does, however, her personality is zilch. She needs to work on that.

My dental appointments were a breeze at Dr. Pruett's. He really takes the time to connect with his patients and explains the treatment needed. His staff was wonderful! Both the girls in the back impressed me with their knowledge and how comfortable they made me feel. The receptionist was helpful with payment and insurance information. The office was extremely clean and had top notch technology!

It seems to me that these negative reviews were all written by the same unhappy person. They don't have anything in common to my experience with Dr. Pruett.

Very unprofessional and immature staff

I was referred to Dr Pruetts office with high praises from my Dentist. I was greeted by a angry unpleasant older lady I assume is Dr.Pruetts wife her name is Kate. I tried to ask a couple unanswered questions that I previously asked the woman that called to confirm my appt which was also unfriendly. My name was called and rushed back as if I was late to my appt( I was 20 minutes early) sat down a hard plastic sharp object rammed into my gums, with no explanation of what she was doing a form to sign that I was rushed to sign, and was not allowed to ask any questions about it. The girl walked out of the room and was unavailable. I heard a lot of laughing and goofing off in "The back of office" I later found out it was the Dentist and his assistant. Seemed a little to friendly of a conversation to be having infront of patients hearing distance. During my treatment I received the same respect as I had the second I walked threw his front door. I am… very disappointed and will tell me Dentist to stop referring to them and let everyone know not to go there

not friendly staff and very rude. I am telling everyone I know. Reception Kate is the worst to be greeting people. Dr.Pruetts assistant dropped things on the floor, laughed picked it up and put it back on the tray and wasn't very pleased when I said I am leaving but before I do I was going to tell the Dr. She marched out of the room and Dr Pruett came in and told me to leave "HIS" office. I made calls and turned them in.! This office isn't to help people but make them sick

Receptionist did not greet ,smile, say hello, or welcome. She rudely pointed to the paper work on the counter and said, you need to set down and fill your paper work out, your late and the doctors been waiting for you. I was not late. I was 10 minutes early so I pulled out my appointment paper to show her the time that was written down. She then glared at me and said go sit down . I was in a lot of pain that day, so I did what she had asked. At this point I was praying to the lords above asking him for a better experience once I was seated and was in the care of a professional (Dr. Pruett) I must say he is a soft spoken pleasant man that cares about his patients and their needs. Him and his nurses were a joy, and made sure my questions and concerns were answered. I dreaded leave my dental seat and having to face the receptionist again. It was just as bad if not worse then my entrance .

I was very satisfied once I was taken back and seated in the dental chair. The young lady's in the back are wonderful. She explained every thing and was very friendly . I was unhappy with the receptionist , she was not friendly and was very annoyed with my questions and concerns . I felt that she just wanted me to leave. I don't think she smiled even once.

I've never had a receptionist in the medical field treat me so terrible as I did at Dr. Pruett's. I feel if I have questions in regards to my insurance ( copayment ) I should in return receive a explanation on how the copayment was estimated. I will never return to this office and I will let family, friends and co workers aware of the poor customer sevice the receptionist puts forth. As for treatment and his gals that work in the back area, they were wonderful .
