Dr. John M Rashkis, MD

He treated me like an idiot and did not have time to answer my questions. He wants to make a point about how smart he is regarding coronavirus, so he and his staff won’t wear masks. I mentioned my horrible experience to a nurse at a different office. She said many in the Los Gatos medical community believe he’s dangerous and would never send a family member to him

Rude, abrupt and seemingly non-caring!

I am a new patient in Dr. Rashkis' practice. After years of bouncing around to various doctors I've finally found one who can relate to what it is like to feel sick yet still have to cope with day to day responsibilities. I have a chronic illness that can be difficult to manage. Dr. Rashkis listened to my concerns and talked with me about the different ways I have been managing my illness, and he suggested some news approaches...which are working. I simply appreciate someone taking the time to listen to me and remind me that it is going to be okay. Thank you Dr. Rashkis.

Dr. Rashkis is a wonderful doctor. My husband and I have been patients of his for over ten years. While it seems like the waiting time has increased over the years, I suspect that is because he has become more busy and successful. I would (and have) recommend Dr. Rashkis to anyone, and I don't know what is will the handful of one star reviews...come on. I know we can't please all of the people all of the time but using words like incompetent and calling him a bald face lair...really? That couldn't be farther from the truth. Dr. Rashkis is a wonderful doctor...simply the best.

I was referred to Dr. Rashkis by a friend. I had not been feeling well for several weeks and had not been to a doctor in many years. Dr. Rashkis spent what I believe to be a considerable amount of time with me, asking me questions not only about my physical state but getting to know me as a person too. Dr. Rashkis ordered some blood work to be done, and it turns out I had some what of a serious infection, which he prescribed some antibiotics and took care of it. Perhaps this sounds like no big deal, but when he told me the infection was serious, he also reassured me that it was treatable and that all would be well. I felt so terrible for neglecting my health for so long, I couldn't believe that I may have put myself and my family at risk. What can I say??? Dr. Rashkis really made a difference by reassuring me that everything was going to be okay and that I had not let anyone down. He did not have to go the extra mile like that and say the reassuring things he did. I really… appreciated that and am very happy I was referred to him.

My family and I have been seeing Dr.Rashkis for 3 generations. (my parents, my wife and me, and our kids) He is in the same building, same staff and provides the same excellent medical care. Bonus: We all LOVE his Office Manager, Donna!

Unfortunately, Dr. Rashkis is a physician on the way down, and it shows. Dr. Rashkis is untrustworthy, a bald-faced lair, and incompetent; he can never gets the diagnosis right the first couple of times around. And added to that, he is rude, obnoxious, and pivots on his heel like a general; such traits make for comical and loathsome combination. Don't let him near any aged family members, as he will surely hasten their demise by his incompetent bumbling. This one is long past the time for retirement, avoid him like the plague.

My coworker recommended Dr. Rashkis, so I decided to call for an appointment. I was able to get in THAT day! (unheard of at my previous Dr's office) The office is small with a warm friendly atmosphere. I was greeted by Donna and immediately eased by her kind demeanor. A short form and 10 minutes later, I was put into an exam room. Dr Rashkis asked pertinent questions, explained my medical condition and provided a treatment plan. Dr. Rashkis is a true professional with an exceptional staff.

Took my mother in to see Dr. Rashkis last month. She is elderly and had been a patient of his for many years. I had never met him before. I did an internet seach before going in, and saw several review like the ones on this site and was concerned but after meeting him and observing how he interacted and treated my mother, I simply don't know what these other reviews are talking about. Some people just have too much time on their hands I guess. Anyway, Dr. Rashkis is a great doc. I have started to go to him myself. Caring, intelligent, puts patients first.
