Dr. John Flint Rhodes, MD

We were originally introduced to Dr. Rhodes when our second son was born with a heart arrhythmia. It was a scary time for our family. We met Dr. Rhodes three days after he was born at the MUSC Children's Health facility. Dr. Rhodes immediately made us feel comfortable. He took the time to answer all of our questions, gave us his personal cell phone number and called us that evening to see how our son was doing. When I had concerns about his condition a few weeks later, Dr. Rhodes fit us in to see him immediately and made it a point to take time to review his echo results and talk through the next steps in his treatment. Our son has been under Dr. Rhodes care for over a year and every time I see him I just want to hug him. He defies what unfortunately seems to be the new norm - being rushed through a doctor's visit, aloof bedside manner, etc. He is empathetic and truly cares about our child and our family. He is so special to us. I would recommend him to anyone!
