Dr. John Jacob Riehs, DDS

Dr. Riehs was great. Went to his office for a 2nd opinion after going to another pediatric dentist in the area. The previous office was unable to even get x-rays. His nurses were not only able to get x-rays, but they removed an infected tooth and the entire experience was seamless. I will spreading the word for this wonderful office.

We have been patients of Dr.Riehs for 7 years. My kids have grown up with him as their pediatric dentist. He’s a party of our family and we love going to the dentist. You could not ask for a kinder dentist.

Just happened to be walking by this office in Preston Center. I stopped in and inquired about an appointment for my child. Rebecca, the front office person , gave me a tour. And I scheduled for my two kids. Today was their appintment and they had a wonderful experience. Dr. Ries was so kind, funny, and informative. Definitely make your kids an appointment here.

Office was great from beginning to end. The staff were kind and patient and the Dr. was as well. Highly recommend.

Dr. Riehs has been treating me and my family for 3 years. He is wonderful, patient, kind and truly cares about us. My son is only 2 but he loves coming to the dentist and it is cute watching the “way he brushes his teeth for Dr. Riehs!” We are so fortunate for his gentle and caring demeanor.

No pre op for surgery My 3 year old was intubated in his office (every dentist I consulted with told me this was not normal) Not conservative when recommending treatment Poor follow up after dental procedures No on call physicians for dental emergency too busy taking vacations My son had zero dental pain and now he’s in the worst still 2 months after procedure Crown fell off a day after procedure Dental abcesses 2 months after procedure when again my son had no issues before besides demineralization we believed him when trying to be “preventative” and everything we were trying to avoid is what actually happened WITH the treatment. My sons 2 front teeth are infected after his treatment. Please google him prior to having any treatment. I am writing this review based on my own experience. Luckily his current dentist is THE best and said these dentists need to be more conservative. She felt so bad for us she didn’t even charge us bc she felt so sorry for my son. She… said his teeth had a little trauma from a fall when he was little and that they were going to fall out sooner rather than later and he should NOT have done what he did to my son.

My 3 yr old loves Dr Reihs and his staff. She was laughing and smiling the whole time. They made her x-rays and exam a fun experience.

We were running late for our first visit and thought we were going to have to cancel. But the front office girl was understanding and very sweet. We felt welcomed and not rushed (even though we were late). Dr. Riehs was fantastic. Patient, kind, relatable. Lucky to have found Preston Center Pediatric Dentistry.

Dr. Riehs at Preston Center Pediatric Dentistry was absolutely the best. Cute office, fun staff, and extremely helpful when it came to giving tips about dental care.

I took my 3 year old girl to Preston Center Pediatric Dentistry and Dr Riehs was awesome. He got inhis knees to get eye level with my daughter and played with puppets first before attempting a cleaning. She loved it, and he gained her trust. She did every thing they asked and wants to go back. Wonderful experience.
