Dr. John Manuel Rivas

To do the colonoscopy I was searching for a gastroenterologist with good reviews. Dr. Rivas has excellent reviews, so I’ve made appointment with him. My perception has totally changed when he misread my x-ray of my stomach that I brought with me and prescribed me a bunch of expensive and unnecessary procedures along with colonoscopy. What shocked me the most though was his office personal, totally unprofessional and with hostile attitude. I needed to change my medication, which wasn’t covered by my insurance. It took 5 days and numerous phone calls for them to finally inform me that Dr. Rivas needs to prescribe me an alternative medicine. 5 days to tell me what they could tell and do help me with right from the beginning… I’m not mentioning how long I was waiting on hold to hear the answers that didn’t make any sense. When I asked for the names of the people whom I was speaking with they just hanged up on me. I’m glad I went to a different gastroenterologist where I got truly… great experience along with assurance that my medical procedure will be performed to the highest standards, which I couldn’t feel dealing with Rivas Digestive Center.
