Dr. James A. Gainer, D.D.S. Dr. James Gainer is a graduate of the University of Maryland Dental School, one of the best in the country.  He has been a dentist since he graduated in 1984 and has been through several post graduate courses in different fields of dentistry since receiving his D.D.S. degree.  Dr. Gainer had been providing dental care at his former dental practice in Lexington Park, MD since 1992 until he recently sold his practice there to move to North Carolina in January 2011.  Dr. Gainer purchased the dental practice from John M. Romulus D.D.S. and started practicing dentistry at 3725 Wrightsville Avenue, Wilmington, NC on February 14, 2011.  Dr. Gainer has been married to Lisa Gainer for 22 years. They have two children, Clark 19 who is away at college and Madi, 16 who still resides at home. Dr. Gainer's emphasis is on comfort as well as keeping up to date with the latest advancements in dentistry, enabling him to provide his patients with the best quality of care in …the field. Dr. Gainer has a wide range of experience in different areas of dentistry, from cosmetic and restorative dentistry to root canals and implant crowns.
