Dr. John Michael Rutkowski, MD

This review is for my 96 year old father: Dr. Rutkowski along with his nurse practitioner performed an unnecessary cystoscopy on my 96 1/2 year old father who had no symptoms of discomfort. They also scheduled a CT Scan as well. I tried to call numerous times on the phone with no response. They did not give my father an antibiotic for the procedure as this procedure can cause a UTI 80% of the time it is performed. My father ended up with an infection which in the end caused him to delay a much needed surgery and held him up in the hospital for 4 days! [only his second time in the hospital in 96 years, so clearly a healthy person for 96 yrs old] Good luck even trying to get ahold of the office to schedule an appointment. This office took advantage of him and Medicaid only to bill for procedures with no safety or precautionary concerns for their patient.

Dr.Rutkowski is a very knowledgeable, personable doctor! I have been coming to see him for about 6 years for my ongoing bladder pain and every office visit or procedure I've had done I always leave happier! Highly reccommended!!!!!
