Dr. John Michael Sadaj, MD

My dad had Dr. Sadaj as his Dr. while in the hospital in 06. I know that was some time ago but the disgust and out right disregard for my Dad and our family will never be forgotten. He told my Dad he would never leave the hospital alive. How's that for HOPE. He jumped all over my elderly mom (83) about micromanaging.This went on for almost a month with this Dr. and we encountered other distraught families as well. All in all I recently told my own Dr. (when Dr. Sadaj was one of the recommended Drs. I could see) that if I was dying do not let him in the room even if he could save me. I Absolutely DO NOT recommend him. If I could give a 0 or minus rating I would.

rude no bedside manner doesn't listen

What ever you do stay away from this doctor. In my opinion he needs counseling, needs to learn how to talk with people and needs to learn to listen to his patients. His staff is totally incompetent. They called me and said that they had to cancel my Saturday appointment because they did not have anyone there to look at the results. I went to the first sleep study only to find out that because he had ordered back to back sleep studies that they cancelled the first study as well. I also found out that they did have someone there on Saturday to do the stats. So they lied to me about that and all my studies were cancelled. I then found out that I had a possible cancer and needed surgery. I called his office to tell them about the surgery and he said that I could not have the surgery and that if I did without my sleep Apnea under control that I would have to find another doctor because he would not sign off on the surgery. Well he does not have the right to tell me which is more important.… Do not go to him. So he cancelled me as his patient when he and his staff are the ones that messed everything up.

I think Dr Sadaj is a great lung specialist. I don't smoke so I did not have to hear the lecture about that. A doc friend once told me that he could not be a good health advocate if he let a patient go out the door without hearing the damage that smoking, obesity, or other risky behaviors cause.. This can make a doc unpopular but it is often necessary. Dr Sadaj has managed my sleep apnea for many years & I find him to be thorough & courteous.

I agree Dr Sadaji is wreak less and needs to be more compassionate. I saw him for years and finally had enough. I now see a different dr. I believe in Karma and I am sure it is coming . He seems to focus on smoking and doesn't offer hope to patients but rather scare tactics and statistics. He scared to heck out of my husband , but not me. it made it sound like every time I saw him that the next time I smoked I was just going to drop dead. Well thankfully he was wrong

I wish I could write this review without having to give him at least one star. Actually I wish Incouldngive NEGATIVE stars! This doctor is a horrible man. When he diagnosed my mother with COPD he showed no compassion, he offered no hope, he showed no humanity. He walked into his office, sat down, looked her in the eye and said "you'll be dead in five years." Any man that can break the news to a patient that they have COPD in that manner is no man in my eyes. I know there is no cure for COPD, but there is treatment and had he been kinder and gentler and offered some hope of treatment at least I believe with all my heart that my mother would have lived much longer and may well even be alive today. Instead she took him at his word and fell into deep depression. She came home and waited to die. It took us 4 1/2 years to convince her that her desire to live could out weigh this "mans" diagnosis. By then it was to late, the damage was done. She was so physically weakend from sitting,… sleeping and waiting to die that by the time she decided to live her body couldn't do it. I don't care what his credentials are ,I don't care where he studied, I don't care how brilliant he may be this man is a horrible human being!

Wonderfull I was sick for months no one could find out what was wrong. he helped me on the first app, would recomed to any one.

Dr Sadaj was arrogant. Never did diagnose my pulmonary problems. Diagnosed problems I do not have that now follow me around in my medical records. I was forced to change doctors, because he did not help me. Once at a different pulmonary specialist my breathing problems were solved immediately. Stay away from him
