Dr. John William Scarborough, MD

Because of him, my Moma almost died twice. He put an elderly lady on OxyContin when it first came out. Well, she fell and broke a hip. In the hospital. he over medicated her 10 times literally on another pain med dosage there.. that she was actually allergic to. When confronted, he ran like a ..... ECM would not give records out to us. But I do know he went on the downtime for a while. That is till I saw him at a groc store buying 3 huge jugs of wine. HE looked at me and I starred him down and said ...THEN HE RAN AGAIN. She lost years of quality of life. HE is the worst excuse.

The worst doctor I've ever came across. He kept giving my severely anemic grandmother shots of blood thinner, till she almost died. After the third one I asked him what her blood levels were & why he was giving so much blood thinner. He had to response, he walked away & we didn't see him again. A few mins later a didn't doctor rushed in & had ordered her 4 bags of blood immediately... a few days later I spoke with a staff member telling her my concern & she said, he does that to everyone... Scary! I would recommend staying away from this doctor!

Dr. Scarborough is hands down the worst doctor I have ever had the misfortune to deal with. Dr. Scarborough has terrible bedside manner and actually told my father that there was no hope for him to improve his quality of life and told him not to bother getting neurosurgery to correct his spinal stenosis. Fortunately my father stopped receiving any chiropractic treatment from him, and ultimately disregarded the advice to not pursue any surgical treatment. I could not be more unhappy with the care my father received from Dr. Scarborough, and would not recommend Dr. Scarborough to anyone.
