Dr. John Patrick Schutte, MD

My name is Sheri and Dr.John Schutte was my doctor at Charity Hospital ,I was 11 years old when he removed a cyst on my write . His bedside manners I will never forget . He smiled at all my visits . One night I saw him it was 2 years later and the first thing he done was look at my wrist . Thank for giving the the go to trust other doctors.

I have had two very successful surgeries (torn rotator cuff & carpal tunnel) with Dr. Schutte. Not only is he a gifted surgeon but he is also willing to listen to my medical issues and, when appropriate, deal with them. Dr. Schutte and his entire staff are very helpful and caring. His PA, nurses and the young ladies in reception are all top notch professionals who care about his patients and will go out of their way to help in any way that they can.

I went to Dr. Schutte several times over a period of about a year and a half with shoulder pain. When he didn't find any noticeable problem from a series of x-rays, he told me I had fraying of my rotator cuff, that I was old, and needed to give up any exercise that put stress on it, including weight lifting and swimming. No matter that every day acts like taking out the trash and closing doors would cause my shoulder to give me pain. I was 24 at the time and ignorantly bought into it. After multiple appointments of the same response I finally got a second opinion from Dr. Matthew Williams who performed an examination, x-ray, and MRI. He found the issue, and fixed it in a matter of months. I regret not getting a second opinion sooner. Dr Williams was much more thorough and attentive to my needs as a patient and never hesitated to explain his thought process.

Dr. Schutte corrected a botched partial knee replacement with a full knee replacement. Results have been much more successful and he explained EVERYTHING prior to surgery. Definitely recommend him to anyone.

His sincere interest in me. He explained the X-ray so that I could easily understand the seriousness of my back problems. I was very disappointed that he could not do my back surgery, the reason he no longer does back surgery. There will be no follow up. He is sending me to a neurosurgeon.

I brought my child to see Dr Schutte and he seemed very unconcerned. He did not even request x-rays to rule out all possible problems. Being this is a child and a very active one at that, I would have expected him to be more thorugh
