Dr. short was extremely helpful when our son had appendicitis while traveling. He provided an accurate diagnosis and made sure we were admitted into a hospital close to home that could provide the surgery our son needed right away. He even called to make sure everything had gone well after surgery. We are extremely grateful.

My daughter had migraines. She had been vomiting since around 2:00 AM. We took her in. The physician did not look for medication for her. There are many types. He had her lie down in a dark room and gave her something IV that did not work. When she went to the car, she began vomiting again. The only medication for severe migraines that he seemed aware of was Imitrex. He never offered her another migraine medication of which there are many. When she was duscharged we specifically asked if he was giving her any discharge medications. He said No. Within five minutes if her leaving the ER and going to our car, she started vomiting. My husband went back into the ER and requested a nurse and told the clerk what was going one. . When shift change was over, a new nurse came out and brought her some medication for vomiting. She told us that the doctor had "forgotten" to give her the antinausea medication. Please, do not go to this physician as it seems as if he does not… recognize or does not have the information to treat the severe impact of migraines.
