Dr. John Cameron Simoneaux, PhD

We were ordered by the courts to complete an assessment for a custody issue, and after reading his reviews, I must say that we were on edge about getting this interview completed and wished that this could just go away. We made it to our appointment a few minutes early, however, we were frustrated due to the other parent intentionally not brining the child to attend with us, so we were worried about how bad that may look for us, as well as not being able to give the Dr. a true evaluation. Dr. Simoneaux and his staff were professional, friendly, and welcoming the moment we walked into his office. Today we received our evaluation; as we had been anxious to receive the results, but I must admit that we are very pleased of the outcome. If you decide to read the reviews, please do not allow this to make you feel discouraged. Dr. Simoneaux was very fair with his analysis and recommendations. I really wish that there were more good reviews about Dr. Simoneaux because they are well deserved.

He's more of a prostitute than a psychologist. He'll say anything for money.

My ex and me were ordered to be evaluated by Dr Simoneaux a few years back. He will lie and manipulate your conversations with him. He made me feel very secure and assured me over and over that I did not have to worry. I walked out of his office believing, without a doubt, that I would be awarded custody. When he finally sent his report to the judge (3 months later) he suggested 50/50 custody and said I needed to take co parenting classes. I told him in my interview with him how difficult and mean the father of my child was to me. And it's like he took that an turned it around on me. To this day, my daughter asks me all the time:. Mommy, why is daddy always mad at you? And she cries her little eyes out every time she has to go back to her daddy's. If you are ordered to see this crook of a man, have uoir attorney fight for a different psychologist! This man charges a fortune and will always end with the same result. 50/50 or in favor of the father. He doesn't care about your… children or mine. He cares about money!

This Dr. caused much more harm to my children. I can’t understand how this man can decide custody of children. He is a sex offender psychologist. He not only told my children lies about how he would express their feelings in the evaluation he lied to court. He is for the party who pays him to testify only. Any parent who is ordered to do the evaluation please find another dr.

He was direct and didn't cut corners. I realized more about myself in his hour than I have in my life

Unethical. Liar. Do not trust this man. John Simoneaux is not fit to be a doctor and especially to make recommendations on child custody. My attorney said he has never seen a more biased and unethical evaluation. This dr publishes a book on how to pass his custody evaluations too. Lol

I would never recommend anyone ever stepping foot in his office . This man is a disgrace .

Terrible excuse for a dr.
