Dr. John Wallace Smith

Dr. Smiths comment still torments me many years after my surgery, “I never screw up, guess you’re my first”. He ruined me both psychologically and physically. He was so worried about being paid by insurance that he took me from a 36F to a 36A on one side a 36B on the other, not even sure where he was trying to put the nipples they don’t match nor are in right place. I’ve been to several plastic surgeons since and I would hVe to invest $20,000 OOP to fix, that’s huge for something that started out to fix back pain. I wish I had never had this surgery with him.

WONDERFUL OFFICE STAFF. PUT AT EASE THE MOMENT I WALKED IN. HAVE SEEN 3 OTHER PLASTIC SURGEONS, DR. SMITH WAS THE ONLY ONE WHO TOOK TIME TO LISTEN TO MY CONCERNS. DAY OF MY SURGERY, I WAS GREETED BY HAPPY SMILING STAFF. WHO TRULY LOVE THEIR JOBS. WHEN I WAS IN RECOVERY, IT WAS DR. SMITH WHO TALKED WITH ME AND THEN WENT TO SEE MY HUSBAND. I LOOK AMAZING. I FEEL AMAZING. THANK YOU DR. SMITH. YOU ARE ONE IN A MILLION.......

I have 3 children, my stomach did not look like it use to. I was very nervous about having surgery. Dr. Smith was recommended by several co workers. I admit after reading reviews on this site I was doubtful. My co workers convinced me to keep my appointment and make my own decision. It was one of the best I ever made. I felt cared about. Dr. Smith and his assistant, Donna really listened to my concerns and fears. Explained everything clearly. Made sure that I understood the procedure and my recovery. Before my surgery, I was a pest, calling office a dozen times. They contined to make me feel cared about. Day of surgery, as promised, Donna again not only took great care of me, but my family. My husband & mother were a nervous wreck. They feel in love with Dr. Smith and staff. Even the anesthesia guy was amazing. He smiles and you see how happy he is at what he does. I can now proudly show my stomach. When I am asked about my scars, I am happy to show them . None only "gasp" I get… is in amazement at how beautiful I look. So the advise I would like to leave is, PLEASE, take negative reviews with a grain of salt, go to see Dr. Smith and make up your own mind after meeting with him. I am glad that I did. It was the one of the best decisions I have ever made.

Dr. Smith did a tummy tuck on me and I had a HORRIBLE outcome...He completely destroyed my naval....Another plastic surgeon gasped when he looked at it....My belly was NEVER flat!!!As a matter of fact he had to cut more off during a follow up......It's been three years and I'm ashamed of my stomach!!!!!

I came to Dr. Smith to re-do a breast augmentation after deciding to get a bigger size which was originally done elsewhere. All of the staff is extremely comforting and easy to get a hold of. Donna is especially nice! Her and Dr. Smith are very understanding, they will not jump into surgery without a careful analysis and a clear understanding of what the plan will be. They really worked with me to keep the cost reasonable. The staff gives honest opinions and through all my visits, never felt as if they were rushing. I felt very comfortable trusting everyone that works at the office, and am glad I did so. I know a couple other people who are extremely pleased with Dr. Smith, having returned for additional surgeries.

Had my ears done and had horrible outcome. Ears were totally deformed and uneven. Did not even see me for any of my follow up visits- had someone else do it for him. Probably because he knew how bad of a job he did and was embarassed. Had to have my ears redone by a more compentant doctor. Would not reccommend at all.
