I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Smoot and his entire staff and team at La Jolla Cosmetic Surgery. From the moment I met Dr. Smoot, I knew that I was, literally, in good hands. He was so reassuring, kind, and confident during my consultation appointment. My breast augmentation was a unique and difficult situation, and the final outcome is more beautiful than I could have imagined. I am EXTREMELY happy! I was referred here by a friend for a consultation regarding some problems I was having with my breast augmentation done by another surgeon. At my initial visit, Dr. Smoot confirmed what I was afraid of, that I had moderate capsular contractures and recommended revision surgery using the Stratice grafts. Everything from booking my surgery to my postop appointment was easy and done with professionalism. My surgery went great. Dr. Smoot is an excellent surgeon and has a warm bedside manner. I am now 10 months out from my surgery and love my results!

I have seen Doctor Smoot for various surgical procedures over the last eleven years( breast augumentation, brow lift, lower bleph, mini rytidectomy, neck lift, fat transfers, and Thermi-tite. I continue to see him because I am so pleased with the results. He is an excellent surgeon and he never tries to "sell " procedures that I don't need.

This man is an angel. Deciding to have plastic surgery is something that took a lot of thought on my part...but it was almost a no-brainer with this man. He's a classy man - professional, smart and honest. Not only did he pull off a virtually flawless surgery (if I do say so, myself!), there's something very comforting about knowing I was in good hands. My anxiety was as low as it could've been because of Dr. Smoot and his staff (yes, he's not the fluffy or coddling type, but I don't care). And it was reasonably priced....in La Jolla! It's been exactly a year and I feel amazing. From beginning to end, I cannot say enough about Dr. Smoot.

Almost 50 and decided to pre-celebrate by getting silicone breast impants. With-in 3 weeks of my initial visit the procedure was complete and I was in quick recovery! The procedure was seemless and the results were amazingly beautiful and natural. 6 months post op and I cannot rave enough about the results! Highly recommended.

Dr. Smoot was nice on the first visit, but downright cruel on the next visit. his demeanor compounded the extreme pain I was in, and he did not listen one bit to what I had to say. The only thing he does is prescribe (addiction-generating) mobic and send youto his onsite PT who handles 3 patients at the time/hour. Never want to see this man again.
