Dr. John Christopher Stackow, MD

I absolutely love Dr. Stackow and ALL of his staff. He changed my life at 52 years old. He cares and has a great sense of humor! Thank you Dr. Stackow for accepting me as a patient and for doing such a great job on my surgery.

He is very caring, has a great bedside manner. Very easy to talk to, and he listens to your concerns. Would recommend him without a doubt.

I had to have my gallbladder removed. I felt it was the easiest surgery I have had. He was a great Doctor and it went quite smoothly. I would highly recommend Dr Stakhow.

Dr. Stackow completed my surgery which he said went well. The following week I was still having trouble with my throat due to the tube that was put down it, I actually coughed up some blood. I called Dr. Stackow's office to be told he was on vacation and that they would not have anyone available to see me until the following week that I should go back to my primary doctor. My post op appointment was for the next week, which I received a call stating Dr. Stackow would not be in and they needed to reschedule me. I was rescheduled for the following week. The following week I was called by the office to once again reschedule my appointment in which case I explained I had a knee surgery scheduled for that Thursday and that I needed to be seen before then. Again this was for my post op appointment, I had not been seen by my dr. since my surgery. I was told they could schedule me with Dr. Sarkis for that Wednesday. I went to my appointment, once taken back to the examining room it… was approximately a hour wait. I'm not sure whom I saw as it does not look like the picture of the two doctors on this webste, I was having an issue with the incision at my bellybutton, the nurse agreed it looked swollen and that it had pulled away some. The dr (?) when he came in I explained my concern he looked at my bellybutton incision said it looked good to him, asked if I had my gallbladder removed and just not to lift anything heavy. That was the sum of my post op appointment, did not check my other incisions or anything and I felt like since I as not his patient that he really didn't have time to see me. I am not impressed with the after care I received and have not heard from this office since that appointment.
