Dr. John Charles Stevenson, MD

My wife and I both had surgery done by Dr Stevenson a year and a half apart. We are both pain free and resuming normal lives. He's always curtise and friendly and answers all our questions we give him five stars would not use anyone else.

I absolutely trust Dr Stevenson with my care. Great bedside manner, kind, compassionate, good listener, and patient. I have seen Dr. Stevenson for multiple issues and don't hesitate to recommend him or visit him when needed.

Dr. Stevenson is very professional and explained everything to me. His staff was excellent and I an so glad I went there for my neck surgery!

Dr. Stevenson is a wonderful doctor. He was very professional. He was the right person to fix my back problem.

Dr. Stevenson replaced my spinal cord stimulator (2021) after my first spinal cord stimulator (2019) quit working. I was left with full body tremors and in worse pain than I was in prior to my surgery. As a result I could no longer function and ultimately ended up losing my career. I met with him for an appointment to see if he could figure out why I was having tremors and in worse pain. He was extremely rude and dismissed me and my wife. He did not care to listen to anything we had to say. We feel he doesn't care about his patients and is only in the business to make money. We do not recommend Dr. Stevenson and feel that if you care about your health you should find another neurosurgeon.

My husband had five surgery’s by him after a car accident the end of 2016 that wasn’t his fault. The first appointment dr Stevenson was told about the car accident. When he had his last back surgery, he was back in hospital with in three weeks having another back surgery and ADR Steve kept asking why did we mention this car accident .( Guess he doesn’t look over his notes.) Dr Stevenson kept saying he was sorry that he should have looked future. Then when our attorney talked with him, he told our attorney that he didn’t feel the accident had caused his back problems. He had had a back surgery in Miami three years prior and had no problems at all. Was living a good normal life, until the car accident. Dr Stevenson threw him under the bus and has cost him a life of pain and suffering. He lied to our face and to our attorney. He’s a surgeon that should not be trusted . Will never go to him again. It’s all about how much money he can put in his pocket.

A week out from surgery and am feeling some positive results already! I will follow up as time goes on.

After almost 5 months of excruciating pain due to a herniated L5-S1. Dr. Stevenson performed a minimally invasive discectomy. I had tried a chiropractor and epidural steroid injection but found no relief. I literally crawled into the surgery center and later that morning I was able to walk to my car on my own. I experienced a 90% instantaneous reduction in pain, very little post surgery pain. I did experience leg pain that Dr. Stevenson told me was probably nerve damage that may dissipate with time or may be permanent. I am happy to say that 2 months post surgery the leg pain is lessening and I have my life back. I would highly recommend Dr. Stevenson.

I would have given a five star but I felt a little rushed on my follow up. A busy man with great skills He addressed my problems quickly and concise. Have recommended and would definitely again.
