Dr. John Ernest Stivers, DDS

Dr. John Stivers has both. He has been serving patients in the Louisville area for over 25 years; some families even have 4 generations under his care. They appreciate how Dr. Stivers’ care has kept them healthy and smiling, and want the same for their entire family.
To stay abreast of all the current dental techniques and technologies, Dr. Stivers attends many, many hours of continuing education classes each year, taking advanced training in complex restorative and cosmetic treatments. He has studied at such well-regarded institutions as the Dawson Center for Advanced Dental Study, The Hornbrook Group, the Schuster Center for Professional Development and ProSynergy Dental Communications.
Dr. Stivers is a graduate of the University of Louisville and the Louisville Dental School. He is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Dental Association and the Seattle Study Clubs (a continuing education group).
He’s also part of Touched Twice Ministries, a non-profit group …that provides free medical and dental care to the needy in the Louisville area.
A native of Louisville, Dr. Stivers and his wife Donna, who works part-time in the practice, have two daughters - Mindy and Rebecca - and two granddaughters - Emma and Gabriela. When he isn’t busy taking dental courses, studying or spoiling his granddaughters, Dr. Stivers is active in his church, and enjoys golf, writing and following University of Louisville sports.
