Dr. John Storey

I’m not a fan of doctors. However, I met Dr Storey a few years ago when he did an open lung biopsy on me. He changed my mind on that. He had the best bedside manner and personality. This surgery was at least 4 years ago and I still think about how awesome he was to me. Thank you Dr Storey!

I’m a 70 year young widow, mother, sister, grandma, and heart patient. My name is Juanita Taylor, but my friends call me Nita. I didn’t have a clue I had heart disease and always considered myself pretty healthy with the exception of Type 11 diabetes. I’m not sure just how I was so lucky to see Dr. John Storey, (a God thing for sure) but the minute he sat on the side of my hospital bed and took my hand, I knew I was in a grave situation and very life threatening. He explained my heart situation while looking directly at me the whole time. In essences, this was a major overhaul including valves, rings, maze surgery, arteries, Afib and some other stuff I didn’t comprehend. Then he said to me, don’t worry, I’m going to take good care of you and your heart will be good as new. I asked him would I be around afterwards to thank him. He smiled, winked and told me he couldn’t loose a beauty like me. Who was he kidding, but I believed him, trusted him and knew God had given him this… awesome talent to fix people. I’m ever so grateful to Dr. Storey for a new lease on life, an extended heart warranty. I’m too young to die anyway. I’m so grateful to his staff of awesome nurses, other doctors, aides, technicians, and therapists who saw me through this and were so kind and caring. I salute you all! You have my undying gratitude always!

Dr. Storey is a rock star! He and his staff are always professional, friendly and ON TIME!! He really listens to you and answers your questions. I can't say enough good things about him!

My experience was about perfect. I give Dr. Storey the highest marks possible. He set and met expectations and I was out of the hospital 2 days sooner than expected. I would recommend him to anyone and would use him again, if needed.

Dr Story did Quadruple Bypass about 7 years ago, and he is a wonderful doctor. I'm still ticking without any complaints. Look for the cowboy boots and he's there. LOL Lots of continued success Doc and thanks again!!!

Just a fabulous person as well as an excellent surgeon. I have confidence in his ability as a surgeon and appreciate his no nonsense yet compassionate approach in his assessments, diagnosis and prognosis. They just don't come any better than this guy.

Dr. Storey and his highly qualified team replaced my aorta valve on 4/21/17 and thanks to him, his staff and the nurses at Community North I was home recuperating four days later. Starting my cardiac rehab next week and feeling fine!!

Dr Storey is a wonderful doctor. The only thing he does reschedule your appointments alot. He has alot going on.

I liked Dr. Storey very much. His "laid back" manner and his obvious expertise created in me a sense of confidence in him. I felt that he would be honest with me, and I appreciated that!

I love this man he actually had to hand massage my heart.I thank God he was there to guide my knight in shining armour.Sorry ladies he is taken .I asked him to marry me.
