The staff in this office can be extremely rude and hateful. When you are in the office with Dr. Straetmans he is typing on the computer the whole time, I presume sending in prescriptions. Perhaps that is why his prescriptions are wrong the majority of the time.....

I have seen Dr. Straetman twice now. He has been very thorough and I really like him. My past doctor was also great but he retired. So happy I found Doctor S.

Dr. Straetmans and his staff are wonderful! They have been very supportive, compassionate and nonjudgmental throughout my on-going therapy. I love them all!

First time visit for our adult son was very encouraging. Staff was courteous and responsive. Dr S spent a good amount of time with our adult schizophrenic son, then talked to me briefly to ensure that we were all on the same page.

When I need him the most he can see me immediately unlike other doctors in the Atlanta area. The front desk people have always looked out for me when it comes to insurance claims. 10 year patient!

I have only had one visit with Dr Straetmans and so far I am happy he was referred to me. He seemed very confident and knowledgeable.

Horrible. First of all, the people at the front desk are incredibly rude and tried to diagnose me based off of something I wasn't even coming to the dr about. I told her this several times, yet she didn't care. When I finally got an appointment, weeks later, he sat with me for MAYBE 15 minutes and asked me for my issues. When my medication didn't work, he decided to prescribe me a psychotic. He then gave me a survey claiming that I had a severe mental disorder... When I answered no to all of the questions he seemed confused. I will never see him again, and would love to know why my current doctor is recommending this incompetent psychiatrist.

Doctor Straetmans always seemed nice enough, but he refused to see me when I was at my worst.

This doctor just prescribed me what I told him I was currently taking. When I told him I abruptly quit taking Lithium, he did not even have a response, and just prescribed me my anti-depressant.
