Dr. John English Studdard, MD

He has no bed side manner. I felt as though he could care less whether he helped me or not. He did not suggest anything new or different for my treatment. It was as though I was merely keeping him from something more important. I am still struggling to breathe and can not do what I used to. I never heard back from him or staff with test results. I finally called them and 2 days later I heard from NP who said everything was good and just to keep doing what I was doing. I'm struggling to breathe and they have done nothing.

I believe he is the poorest excuse for a physician that I have encountered. His history doesn't exist; his bed side manner minus zero. How did he get a license to practice pulmonology? I wouldn't trust him to treat any of my patients.

Bad!!! Don't go to him. He will take your money and send you to someone else, not even trying to diagnose your condition.. It would appear he does not like to use his medical knowledge anymore. No time for you.

Dr. Studdard is suppose to be very knowledgeable in his field. However, I must say he is the most arrogant doctor I have ever met. That said I suppose I am not paying him to befriend me. Honestly I don't think I could have spent more time with his attitude even if he had decided to sit instead of stand during my 3 minute visit.

It seems at one time Dr. Studdard may have been a descent Doctor. He may still be so so if your young. However if you are elderly and expect this facility to be on their A game forget it! I wish there was 1/4 star.

Got us through a very difficult time. One of the best in the state.

Dr. Studdard was my fathers physician at Baptist Dec. 2009. He was unprofessional, abrupt and would not let us ask questions. He treated us as if he did not have time for us. My father died under his care. It has been one month since his death and have not heard from Dr. Studdard about his death. No followup from him. He gives doctors a bad name. I would not recommend him to anyone. He has made my fathers death much harder to deal with because of the way he treated him in his final days.

Dr. Studdard will refer a patient to another doctor if it will help him, rather than refer him to the doctor that could best address his problems earlier, when time is of the essence. He has no bedside manner. He does not send his associates on the week-end when the patient needs a lung doctor, and has breathing problems and dies.He is not to be confused with his brother, a sweet radiologist.
