Dr. John Ivan Sutter, MD

Dr. Sutter has been all three of my children's doctor since birth. My eldest is 17 now. We love him!

Dr. Sutter is one of the best pediatricians around. I have two children, ages 30 and 16, and Dr. Sutter has been their pediatrician since they were newborns. My daughter is 30 years old now, but she continued to see him well past the age of 18 as she liked him that much. Dr. Sutter takes his time with each patient, as long as you need, to explain things. He is extremely thorough, and I trust his opinion, experience, and knowledge.

My children have been patients of Dr. Sutter since 2002. He is simply the best. He has terrific nurses & modern technology. He isn't a warm and fuzzy guy, but it doesn't matter. His expertise far outweighs his personality. I swear by anything he tells us and my kids trust him and anything he tells them. Occasionally there is a long wait, but if you tell the office staff upfront you need to get out by a certain time they are very accomodating. They run over because Dr. Sutter always takes the time to explain everything in detail and never once in 10 years did he make us feel rushed.

I have taken both my children to Dr Sutter since birth Even though they are both well into adolescence and can go elsewhere I can think of no better a doctor for them. My son has has numerous medical issues so I have had plenty of experience in his office. I can honestly say if you need a Pediatrician you can't go wrong with Dr Sutter.

My son had a high fever through the night and we decided to take him to the doctor first thing in the morning. The recording said they open at 9:00am, the door didn't open until 9:15am. The two people that were at the front desk ignored us, no eye contact....not even a Good Morning, Can I help you or I'll be right with you. After standing infront of her for a couple of minutes my husband questioned her after she got off the personal phone call. Her answer was "the office is not open, we open at 10:00am. She also stated we didn't have an appointment and they had more kids coming in. She also reminded us she was login in and that she was not ready. Never asked us why we were there. She was very rude and unprofessional. It's a pediatrician for God sake...they should have a professional and caring staff. This was the WORST experience!

As a mother of four children I have much experience with many doctors visits. As the mother of a handicapped terminally ill child I am grateful to have had the best of care for my son.That care began with Dr. Sutter when my son was born. The best choice I made was choosing Dr. Sutter as our pediatrician. There are not enough kind words to describe this man who goes far above and beyond with his care for his patients. I know this for sure because we have had him for over 20 yrs. He is always there to listen and help and give great direction and referrals when needed. He is a man that truly cares for his patients and their families. He is kind and sensitive and extremely intelligent. He has always diagnosed with precision never once making a mistake. When you pick a pediatrician for your children you want one that is always available and always able to help immediately. Dr. Sutter has always been there for my family and I have always had the comfort of knowing he is the best and did… the best for my children. His staff is wonderful caring and truly an asset to his practice. I get referrals in minutes and they are done with much concern and care. I love all these girls.Way to go Dr. Sutter!!!

When my daughter was 2yrs. old her previous pediatrician gave her a shot that gave her a severe reaction. Dr. Sutter quickly determined that the doctor had given her an injection of pennicilin, and gave her an antidote. She quickly recovered. I recommend him to anybody.

The doctor's skills may be on point but the average waiting time is very very long even with an appointment. He has technological advances but the bedside manner leaves alot to be desired. This is a case of only one practitioner in the office, with lots of clients and while on target with diagnosis --is not very communicative. For a pediatrician he should be more outspoken and encourage patients to discuss matters. Gotta change doctors now!
