Dr. John Robert Sutton, DO

I like Dr Sutton because he is one of the "old school" type doctors that seem to be missing today. He takes the time to talk with you and is very serious about providing good accurate care. He follows up to monitor medications, and doesn't "pass you off" for followups to some "assistant". He handles his patients himself, for all office visits.

Takes time with my questions and is straight forward with his advice.

I am really shocked by the other comments people made. Dr. Sutton has always been so kind to me. Took his time and explained all my lab work. Let me know I needed surgery to remove a tumor. After my surgery he has given me the exact medication I needed to get my energy back. I am very thankful to him and his staff. I think a lot of the time people go in with an attitude and expect to do as they please and say what they want. If you show respect I believe you would get respect. I have had some of my best laughs with Dr. Sutton and his staff. Dr. Sutton even went out in the waiting room and told my husband not to worry. Us patients have to meet our doctors half way. I am sure their days and lives are very stressful. Try asking them sincerely how they are. Tell them their appreciated as well as their over worked staff. I am happy to say after a year Dr. Sutton has made sure I am doing well. I look forward to my next appointment in December. Thank you Dr. Sutton, Liz, Sarah, and… Christy. Your all GREAT!

Dr Sutton was awful I wouldn't recommend him to my worse enemy!

Very knowledgeable and handle my case with his expertise

Dr will refuse to see the patient if their children are with them. If you are unable to visit the dr office without your children, this dr is not for you

Demanding demeaning toward patient. Lack of compassion. Places ridiculous requirements on patients. If not fulfilled or met, medical treatment is withheld irrespective of the consequences to the patient's health (I.e., insisting that information is recorded on his own form instead of plain paper, that a hand-written self-addressed envelope is provided to him before he will advise the patient of lab results, and insistence that the patient knows the dosage and type of prescribed medications by heart.) Makes derogatory comments about other health facilities not associated with hospital of his choice. Above all, fails to listen to patient and becomes defensive and napoleanic when patient inquires about benefits and risks of procedures and medications.

very disrespectful of me . Even got in an argument with him about my medical history.

Dr Sutton was rude, mean and had the worst bed side manner I have ever seen
