Dr. John Bartell Taylor, MD

I wish there had been a lower score than 1. In 30+ years of working myself in mental health and health facilities I have never encountered a Dr. with less bedside manner, empathy or what would pass as human concern. There was not one thing in his "treatment" that would produce even the slightest trust in his care. I witnessed 3 changes of his story and "facts" depending on who he was speaking with. I am very concerned that people's lives are in this person's hands and he has the ability to determine someone's plan of care.

I saw Dr. Taylor for the second and final time today. He is extremely rude and conceited. My sister put it perfectly when she said he seemed like a snobby Ivy Leaguer who thinks he's better than anyone else. He has absolutely no people skills and doesn't even try. Today he had me come in just so he could say he couldn't actually treat me. The office had messed up - he is only supposed to treat people who see PCPs at MGH. I expressed frustration that I had to get my sister to drive me one hour each way and he didn't seem to care at all. There was more but I've already made this too long. Just trust me - you don't want to see him.
