Dr. John Abraham Thomas, MD

From the very first visit I felt like he had already judged me because of my size. After doing an X-ray he told me I needed both knees replaced. I thought this was a little strange because he didn’t do a CT scan like my last knee doctor did. Be warned if you have a BMI over 140 he will not consider you for a knee replacement. He then tried to give me the name of a Dr who would do the surgery. By that time I completely had lost trust in him and declined the Dr number. I will move on after wasting my 5000.00 on Cortisone injections and Jell injections which did absolutely nothing.

Great job on ACL reconstruction

First appointment, waited over two hours to see Thomas. The second appointment, the office had scheduled multiple individuals for the same time. The third and last appointment, after 20 minutes, I asked how long it would be, they had no idea! Apparently, there were others booked for the same time period—-again. It is apparent, Thomas thinks his time is more important than his patients. Making sure that MONEY $$$ flows...Thomas might be a decent doctor but has a lousy office operation!!!

Dr. Thomas performed my shoulder surgery several days ago. He is a professional in everyway and cares very much about his patients. He explains everything so you can understand your options and decide which is best for you. His staff and the personel at Baylor Surgicare in Ft. Worth are the best.

Best decision ever to go tend my knee with Dr Thomas. Lived with a torn ACL and damaged cartilage on right knee for 7 years until finally getting surgery three years ago in 2013. Been over two years and have no regrets, would do it all over again
