Dr. John Michael Thomassen, MD

At 70 years old with no prior facial plastic surgery I found Dr Thomassen through a friend who had an excellent result. As a retired registered nurse,I did not think I could find a surgeon I’d trust to operate on my face. I went for a consult and was immediately impressed by the very kind attentive staff and doctor. Dr. Thomassen asked what I was looking to have done. He educated me on all the procedures and we decided on an endoscopic brow lift a deep plain face and neck lift with fat transfer to my lips and nasolabial fold with CO2 laser around my mouth and under my eyes . I was so impressed by his bedside manner and his knowledge of these procedures I couldn’t wait to proceed with the surgery . I am four weeks post surgery and only have one regret, that I didn’t find him earlier. I have no visible scarring as hidden in the ears and hairline . I look 20 years younger, now my outside matches how I feel on the inside. I can never thank Dr Thomassen enough.

Horrible

I was in a terrible car accident in which my husband died and I had major injuries to my face. I tried to book a much needed follow-up (I have pain, a lot of swelling & discoloration). Not only was I not able to schedule an appointment, I was treated rudely and told to ask any questions of my Primary Care Dr (who was an OBGYN, not a plastic surgeon and quit during COVID). Terrible experience and I am left not knowing what to do to treat my horrible scars…

Dr. Thomassen is an exceptionally skilled doctor who provides high caliber services, with expert medical knowledge, a caring touch, and humility (rare combination). His aesthetic surgery exceeded my anticipated results, and I'm very happy I chose him as my surgeon. From his office team to his colleagues at the surgery center, everything is done to ensure the patient has a positive experience and quality outcome. I recommend him without reservation and hope to build a long term relationship for any future aesthetic needs.

I am beyond grateful to Dr. Thomassen and his team. They are an Amazing group who make you feel comfortable. I felt confident that I was in good hands and I was - a meticulous surgeon. My results are amazing . I’m only one week post op and I can already see that the results are far better than what I was hoping for..

Dr. Thomassen is an absolutely exceptional & talented plastic surgeon. He always instantly made me feel at ease with him calm demeanor and made sure to answer ALL of my questions, never making me feel like he was rushing (like so many Dr's do). Devastating results by a procedure done by Mr Thomassen. The shame and reality is I have to live with it, not him.
