Dr. John T Timm

Introducing Dr. John T. Timm
After attending Southwestern University, Dr. Timm earned his DDS at the University of Texas Dental Branch in Houston. He has practiced in the Corpus Christi area since 1972. Dr. Timm belongs to the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, Nueces Valley District Dental Society, and the Academy of General Dentistry, where he has completed coursework to attain his Fellowship. To stay current, Dr. Timm regularly attends continuing education courses on everything from esthetic smile design to hands-on training.
Dr. Timm combines his love of dentistry with his passion for helping others by volunteering with local non-profit orgaizations. He's a volunteer dentist with Timon's Ministries, providing much-needed dental work for the homeless community. Once a year, Dr. Timm joins forces with his church's Medical Missionary Team and travels to Mexico to provide oral healthcare for the local population.
Active in the community, Dr. Timm has served as the …President of the American Cancer Society and as the Judicial Committee Chair with the Nueces Valley District Dental Society. He belongs to the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd, participating as a mentor for the University of the South School of Theological Education by Extension. Dr. Timm and his wife, Claire, who works hard to keep the office running smoothly, have two children – daughter, Lauren, and son, Cortland. Dr. Timm also has two older daughters, Heather and Courtney, and four grandsons.
