Dr. John B Toccafondi, DDS

It's always a pleasure going there because I know I'm receiving quality work. He is very honest, gives multiple options for one treatment. The hygienists and his front desk staff are knowledgeable, very informative and beyond patient.

How anyone can criticize Dr. John's work ethics is beyond comprehension.He has always been relaxed never rushed,very thorough examination. Explains procedure and pricing.Found his prices to be competitive or lower then other dentists. I have been going to him since he started in Yonkers.Have never been uncomfortable or dissatisfied. I am 75 years young,with all my own teeth ,thanks to Dr. John.

He's a quack. couldn't even spell my name right, even after he had all my insurance information. Uncommunicative. Untrustworthy. Yes, you could get an appointment without waiting, because he doesn't have many customers. Do NOT use him. Many GREAT dentists around who will explain procedures, charges, listen to patient's concerns, address them. Not him. My situation was complicated, required multiple visits. He is NOT the person to use for complicated, ongoing issues. Yeah, short wait time is the best thing that can be said about him and that's because he doesn't have many clients. Many great dentists in NY: patient, caring, thorough, intelligent communicative. This joker is not one of them. Go anywhere else.

There are many excellent dentists in Westchester county, the Bronx and NYC. He is not one of them. He has no control over his small staff. His receptionist GIVES medical advice over the phone and in person, instead of doing her job and simply scheduling appts. He does not communicate procedure, plan, cost. I had a complicated procedure. He does not sit at a desk and go through step by step, the process. His equipment is out-dated. He does not invest in his own business. For example, 360 degree cameras that take a rounded picture of the entire mouth, are in many dentist's offices. Not his. He's unprofessional, defensive, sarcastic and has bad teeth himself! He emphasizes the number of years he practices, not his schooling. Maybe he graduated at the bottom of his class. The office was EMTY the first time I went there. Now I know why. NEVER use him.

I would definately recommend Dr. T. His staff was very friendly and helpful and Dr. T's bedside manner was impeccable. I would definately recommend him.
