Dr. John Gabriel Touliatos, MD

Dr. Touliatos and the staff in his office were nice and wait times were reasonable. Day of surgery was a disaster. Pre-registered with Grand View by phone and instucted to arrive 2 hours early. Arrived at 7:30 and was registered by 8:00 and told I would be taken back shortly when they “had a bed available”. By 9:30 I asked the desk if I had been forgotten and was told that they are ALWAYS behind schedule, so it was not unusual. At 10:30 I asked a different desk if there was a problem and was told they had no way of checking status or schedule for the doctor or my situation. Finally at 11:30 after sitting for 4 hours in a crowded waiting area in PAIN, they found a bed. Surgery was delayed because my veins collapsed and an IV was difficult. My BP was too high after waiting so long and a concern for the Anesthesiologist. Did not recover until after 5:00 pm and no one from surgery saw me post-op at hospital since they had all gone home. A half-day outpatient procedure took all… day and was a terrible experience. One positive, was nurse Cassandra who worked for 20 minutes trying to relax me and get the IV in place. Grand View will be my last choice in the future.

Dr. T has been my surgeon since 2011. He is one of the best in Alabama and is worth the 2 hour drive to his office from my home. He is very caring and takes time to sit and listen to his patients.

Don't listen, unconcern, uncaring and arrogant.

He listens to you and very compassionate

Rude uncaring staff and uncaring unprepared doctor. Waited over 3 hrs for an appointment that was scheduled weeks earlier and when we did see the doctor he was very uncaring and unprofessional. Would rate with 0 stars if that was available.

Awesome Doctor and staff!! I couldn't ask for anyone better!
