Dr. John Ezra Trainer III, MD

Awful! I waited 45 minutes past my appointment time to be brought back and told it would be another 30 minutes. Terrible service. This office does not respect the time of their patients at all. I asked 15 minutes into my wait if I would be seen soon and the receptionist assured me I would. Then suddenly, 15 minutes later, I was told a patient ahead of me was taking a longer time than expected. Also noteworthy - no one else was in the office when I walk in and there were no cars in the parking lot. I think.... morning golf game ran long. Do yourself a favor and find another doctor.

Dr. Trainer is the only doctor I've ever been to who truly listens to me, asks all the right questions, and explains everything to me in terms I can understand. He never rushes me out or minimizes my concerns. And he genuinely advocates for my health. He is knowledgeable, personable and professional. I am so thankful I found the right doctor for me.

This review is based on my first, and so far only, visit-- the nature of the visit was to establish care, and ask some questions about other procedures I am scheduled for, with specialists: My experience at Dr. Trainer's office was productive from start to finish. Dr. Trainer and the rest of the staff made me feel very welcome, and Dr. Trainer never made me feel rushed. I had several questions for him, he answered them all thoughtfully and knowledgeably, and pointed me to additional resources in each case. After each round of my questions, he asked sincerely, "Do you have any other questions?" I also liked the office itself, both in terms of location: right downtown, centrally located-- and in terms of environment: unpretentious, cozy, lots of character. These aspects contributed, for me, to a highly pleasant experience overall.

Have had a great experience with Dr. Trainer. He is one of the Good Guys! He was very helpful and truly cared about my well-being. Great Dr.!

Dr Trainer is the best primary care physician that I've ever had. He goes above and beyond his duties as a doctor. He contact me personally to share information on my lab results and offer's advice on how to improve my overall health. He's compassionate and very knowledgeable about the lastest treatment for many medical conditions. I would recommend him to other patients looking for a very caring doctor.

Dr. Trainer is an excellent doctor. He spends all the time that is necessary for each patient. He has such a friendly demeanor and warm personality. He is also an extremely knowledgeable doctor, who has the skills to make the most complicated medical terms, easy to understand for the lay person. His staff is also excellent; the nurses and front desk assistants are also kind, and friendly. I always got an appointment promptly and never had to wait long to see him. I give him the highest recommendation to all that are considering him.
