Dr. John Stephen Visger, MD

The worst appointment I have ever had. Refused to believe that I knew about my condition that I've dealt with for 8+ years, talked down to me, brought in a male student for my extremely personal exam without asking if I was okay with it, and was overall extremely rude to me. He told me that my previous doctors had been irresponsible and that I had been as well. He also expected me to be able to pay out of pocket for an expensive procedure because I had told him that my insurance wouldn't cover it and had told him that I hadn't been able to pay for the small amount of preventive care I had been doing had to stop because I couldn't afford it either because of unemployment. He was the most rude and inconsiderate doctor that I have ever met in my life and I will actively warn people against seeing him.

I am a medically retired RN,BSN. He shoots straight from the hip realizing I have 4 years of science and medical training. I avoid Gritman Medical based on many, many negative experiences with their staff.

I have had two surgeries in the last two months by Dr. Visger and feel he is very competent. Just make sure you go to Grittman Hospital and not Pullman. The 2nd surgery was due to poor post op care at Pullman. Beware.
