He actually asks questions and listens always there to answer your calls even when not in the office. I would most def recommend him to anybody thats looking for a doctor not just a doctor but ahuman being that really cares and is trying to help people.

Office staff is extremely rude

We love Dr. Voakes!! He is very thorough (asks a lot of questions) and carefully listens to all our child's symptoms. He goes out of his way to be helpful (even if it means being on call 24/7 or going to the office after hours) and you can tell he really cares about his patients. He was able to correctly diagnose a (mild) medical problem that we had been having with our child on our first visit and we have had a positive experience ever since. The ONLY down side is that his receptionist has horrible people skills and seems very rude at first - however, she is also his nurse and I have never had a nurse be so gentle when administering shots (our child is petrified of shots). Overall we definately reccomend Dr. Voakes in Bowling Green!

Dr. Voakes is a wonderful, caring doctor. He is extremely accessible, when not in office, he always leaves a message with his cell phone number & does not mind if you call it. He doesn't like to prescribe antibiotics unless absolutely necessary

I agree about the staff. Usually the women are cranky. The first couple times I went there they were very rude, but after they saw us a few times they were much nicer. However, they've always gotten me in with an appointment last minute, I've never waited longer than 10 minutes, and my appointments have never run past a half an hour.

Cranky staff. Or maybe just unhappy. As many times as I have been there, they have never said anything to my child while weighing him or taking temps, or anything. Ever! And I have never EVER ~ seen a smile on either one of them. The doctor.... hes okay, but his staff ladies make his office bad. *currently looking for a new doctor*
