I am extremely disappointed with my experience following my breast augmentation with Dr. Wakelin at Columbus Aesthetic & Plastic Surgery. I paid approximately $10,888 out of pocket for my surgery and carefully followed all post-operative instructions to protect and maintain my results. Unfortunately, after only about 643 days (roughly 1.75 years), I began noticing that my right breast appeared to be changing shape, becoming smaller over time, and losing symmetry compared to the left side. I have also experienced physical discomfort on that side. This has been emotionally devastating and incredibly stressful, especially considering the amount of money invested into the procedure and how seriously I took my recovery instructions. What has made this experience even more upsetting has been the difficulty getting meaningful follow-up communication regarding my concerns. I have repeatedly contacted the office and have been told my information was being sent to Dr. Wakelin urgently, but I… have struggled to receive direct follow-up or guidance regarding the issues I am experiencing. At this point, I am pursuing additional medical evaluation elsewhere because I cannot continue waiting while the condition appears to worsen. I genuinely hoped for a much different outcome and a better post-operative support experience, especially given the financial sacrifice involved. If anyone from the practice would still like to work toward a reasonable resolution please reach out to me.

Well, first of all after spending $25,00 for a neck and lower facelift the results are very disappointing! It's been 14 months and my neck is still numb and I was told to expect the numbness for 8 to 12 months and its STILL numb! I had a horrible infection after the surgery and had to go on antibiotics. He said it was the first time he had a patient get an infection, but his nurse told mw it had happened to an other patient. I still have a lot of wrinkles along the side of my jawls and in my neck! After going back to see Dr. Wakelin regarding this and sitting and waiting for 45 minutes he comes in with pictures of before and after the surgery, which I already had. I asked him why I still had wrinkles after the surgery and he said that he told me ( and he had it written in his notes) it wouldn't get rid of the wrinkles. That's what a facelift is supposed to do.The lines around the mouth are very pronounced after a year as well. Very, very disappointing after all of the mo new… that was spent and to get these results if horrifying. I would not recommend a facelift to be performed by Dr. Wakelin. Look eleswhere if you want good results!

I drove from West Virginia for my consult with Dr. Wakelin. I knew when I left, I wanted him to do my surgery. He gave me realistic expectations, and made the whole process as smooth as possible. This was important for me considering I had a 3 hour drive home the day after surgery! Great Dr. ! Great results!

Dr. Wakelin was amazing as was all the staff. Between Dr. Wakelin and his nurse I would never have expected such a wonderful experience. Wonderful communication, bedside manners, def took time with me never felt rushed at all. I was so nervous with my size we chose and up to the day of surgery they talked me through it the whole time and always made me feel comfortable. I would def. say they go out of their way for their patients. I would highly recommend them. I am so happy with my results for sure. Yes I would def. go there again. What a wonderful group of people.
