Dr. John Hearst Welborn, MD

This man is crazy and shouldn’t be practicing at all. He is rude and aggressive. Do not go to him!!!

I can't even rate Dr. Welburn he was SO terrible very unprofessional and has absolutely no bedside manners or had no compassion whatsoever. Very unprofessional. And didn't want to listen to anything I had to say. He touched my injured left knee and rt side back. And he makes a diagnosis. He's full of shit, I can't even walk more than 10-15 minutes without feeling I'm going to fall, it locks up on me due to the injury I had at work in 2022 March.  I saw Dr. Welburn for my 2nd opinion workers comp evaluation. I Fell at work in 2022 and injured both knees and my back. The left knee is terribly bad. My orthopedic surgeon said I was a candidate for total knee replacement. So I'm in the room at Dr. Welburns office, he walks in, sits down like a slob, and asks why was I there. For one, I didn't make this appointment workers' compensation did. Anyhow, he was asking me dates. Ok, for one, I was told you have all my records, what I was told-wrong or he was just lying. The appointment lasted no… more than 40 minutes. As I was driving home, I knew he had his mind made up before I was even there. I kept trying to telling him how much pain I was in, how everything was in my a recent mri. He never wanted to listen. I got the report two days later, and he stated I was obese and that all I had was arthritis that this is a none industrial injury. So he said I could return back to work. Which I'm not refusing. So I'm bone on bone miniscus tear that never healed due to not having medical attention for over a year. THIS DOCTOR NEEDS TO LOSE HIS LICENSE OR GO BACK TO SCHOOL AND GO INTO A DIFFERENT CAREER. He has no bedside manners. Rushes through his patients and does want to listen. He's terrible. His report has everything to do with me keeping my workers compensation that I fought to get approved, which did 1 yr later

For far he treated a painful hand several years ago and the hand still feels good. Now I have visited him for possible hip replacements. He was very professional, yet nice. Gave me a steroid shot to help with the pain and discomfort. It's so far working, but I know I'll have to have the surgery before too long. Actually looking forward to my next visit.

This Doctor should be fired , he is literally hurting people lives out there with his evaluations. My knees where completely swollen from my workers comp injury, and he gave me that absolutely worst possible evaluation you can think of, he cleared me for full duty and I haven’t been working since. It’s been over 4 months and I haven’t healed from my injury yet. He is the reason my life is on hold and for someone to have a job that can effect your whole life situation, he is your worst nightmare. All he did was touch my knees and ask me where does it hurt and I gave him my answer and he completely disregard anything I said. From the moment I step into his office he had a unprofessional attitude and I felt highly disrespected. I don’t know what this man problem is but he needs to seek mental health, I really feel like he got his job to ruin others people life’s. Doctor Evil

Stay FAR from this "Doctor". I was sent to him for a QME report for comp. I was in a car accident with whiplash. This has caused debilitating pain and migraine. He refused to listen to me about this. He simply said"I am not a brain doctor". The report he wrote focused on my hip, leg and foot. I do not have reoccurring pain here! His report got me kicked out of Comp. He was rude,arrogant and seriously unprofessional! He has affected my financial life as well as my health. STAY FAR FROM THIS MAN!

For my first visit, I really was impressed with his gentleness and his patient manners with my fruitless attitude. I like him. Charlotte Fitzgerald.

Good doctor

He misdiagnosed me. Now I'm going to have to have a knee replacement , he doesn't care about his patients at all.

To be avoided!! He is arrogant for NO reason. He is a terrible doctor and person! Beware!

I went to see this doctor for a second opinion of a shoulder injury I suffered at work. The workers comp people set me up with this guy. Not only did he fail to properly diagnose the problem, he also performed an incorrect surgical procedure which made the problem worse! Now I have to have a second surgery to correct what he did wrong. I may be stuck with pain for the rest of my life because of this also. Do yourself a favor and find someone else!
