Dr. John Wells Dr. John Wells has been practicing pediatric dentistry in Hendricks County since 1999. Dr. Wells graduated from Eastern Kentucky University in 1976 with a degree in microbiology. He attended the University of Louisville Dental School from 1979 to 1983. He practiced general dentistry in rural Kentucky for fourteen years. Working with children was Dr. Wells' favorite part of his practice, so he chose to specialize in pediatric dentistry. He received his training at the Riley Hospital for Children and the Indiana University School of Dentistry from 1997 to 1999. In addition to maintaining a practice in Brownsburg, Dr. Wells also teaches a lecture on restorative dentistry for the pediatric patient to the Juniors at the Indiana University School of Dentistry. He is also on staff at Hendricks Community Hospital. Dr. Wells, and his wife, Lavada, reside in Avon, Indiana, and are the parents of three children. Joseph is a Sophomore at the University of Kentucky. John Robert is a …Senior at Avon High School. Their daughter, Sarah, is married to Michael Borden and they have a daughter, Maya.
