Dr. John Cameron Wessner, MD

Dr. Wessner made a very memorable impression on me the day I saw him. As he was examining me I always felt at ease and comfortable. My regular dr. just retired so I was looking for a new one. Needless to say I found one that day.

I contacted this office needing a new patient appointment the next day for my husband the receptionist was very nice and concerned we where set up for the following day husband had been sick for a month with us running to different specialist and ER ' s with no help or concern from any of them , The nurse was very professional and nice and Dr Wessner took his time and asked a lot of questions and did a thorough examination everyone in this office including the lab staff where awesome and we left feeling relief that my husband was in good hands now and we will finally get on the right path to get him better

Dr. Wessner has been our family doctor for over twenty years. Throughout those years, he has become our friend as well as our internist. His dedication to his profession is evident upon each visit, and he has never missed a diagnosis for any of us. His professional expertise is complimented by the fact that he is very personable and has a great sense of humor. He is very intelligent, reads extensively on many subjects, and travels widely. When,after a freak accident, my husband was placed on life support and almost died, he was by my side. He never gave up, and one day he confided to me that he had just gone home depressed because the situation looked so critical. During the two months of hospitalization, he never missed a day to meet with me and advise and console me. In addition, he gave me the support and the medication I needed to survive such a horrible experience--my husband tore an artery in his brain, had part of his skull removed as the brain swelled, had two bouts… of pneumonia, a staph infection, and two other surgeries. The specialists basically gave up, but John Wessner did not. After three months and extensive rehab, my husband came home. My husband has had a miraculous recovery, now drives, gardens, fishes, and cuts the lawn. We have had seven years that we might not have had. Once, long ago, I met Dr. John's mom in the hospital in Ozark. She said, "He really cares about his patients." That is an understatement. All of his patients love this good Christian man. There are few like him. God gave him wonderful talents, and he has used them well. There is no question that when he gets to heaven, God will say to him, "Well done, my good and faithful servant. WELL DONE!"

Doctor Wessner took care of my mother but far more than that he genuinely cared for her. His kindness and his willingness to take extra time from his very, very busy day at then end of her life to show this care and ensure her comfort as his priority was appreciated beyond words. If only there were more like him.

Referred to Honorable Dr. John Wessner (Int. Med Expert i.e.35 Years) from numerous sources, from a Car Accident (Blunt Force Trauma, Cornea Replacement referral provided and needed a Primary Care/Intern. Med. Specialist. Also had Hip surgery, near fatal Accident, His leadership and strong passion for his Oath in office to heal and never hurt is always presence. Dr. Wessner employed me in and out of Rehab, constant follow-ups to ensure my recovery is and always on course very important to him and his example of a caring Doctor that became the best MD for the right reasons and results orientated MD. The first expanded focus exam was on the mark, then the numerous follow-ups 5 years later is most impressive, Dr. Wessner is very well educated in People and Medicine, never quits, on high maintenance patient, he got me out of the wheel Chair and on a cane with positive encouragement, has an angel like presence, loves people and handles serious medical issues with easy. Takes and makes the… time to listen and treat medical problems. I think he actually feels my pain and suffering, but he keeps me on our plan of action; Medications; Rest; Rehab: referrals: MRI; CAT Scans; blood work. The first MD I have EVER noticed how he manages my time; pain; and ONLY directs test that are required. VERY honest; MD educated and tested in require scope of work to treat what we can and fix when we can. Always visits or contacts Patients for hospitalizations; emergency room visits' calls me at home with lab results the same day and the call is coming from the Hospital because he is caring and helping all patients. My brother has a very complex Military life and Dr. Wessner keeps my Marine Brother going. He admires Dr. Wessner much like all (A Five Star General) the others in the waiting room. I have tears in my eyes from all the caring positive comments several people express that he is a very good man and God will reward him for EVERYTHING he does for everyone of them. The car accident hurt me all over but God gave me the best Dr. Wessner in his world. I am so blessed. I know, I complain too much; cry too much, and hurt way too much. But the visit and the tune-ups with my Professional Dr. Wessner keeps me alive and VERY proud of Dr. Wessner. I know Jesus loves him. I am sorry to be so high maintenance, but the car accident was not my fault, a lady hit me T-bone style. I have strong faith and ever confidence in Dr. Wessner that all my days count because Dr. Wessner is the best Doctor, human being, American Patriot and God loving person! 5 stars for Dr. Wessner, he earns it.
