Dr. John Roland Westine, MD

Had a terrible experience with this dentist. Treated an infected tooth with cracked root by cutting off part of the root. Said this would take care of the infection. Suffered the worst pain I have ever felt. Infection never went away, so I went back and was charged another office fee and xray to be told infection had returned and tooth needed to come out. Went to another oral surgeon who took xrays at no charge and told me infection had now eaten into the gum and Dr. Westine had actually chipped the root of the adjacent tooth and it might have to come out as well. I called Dr. Westine's office and asked them to refund my last office visit payment because my visit was related to a procedure he had done and I didn't feel I should have paid for him to tell me his work had failed. They refused and suddenly the office was no longer friendly. Stay away from this practice. I believe Dr. Westine should have retired many years ago.
