Dr. John M Wheeler

I went to Dr. Wheeler about 35 yrs ago for a root canal and crown. My old crown finally wore out about 2 months ago. Never had one problem. I just got a new one, in another town. After 2 months, it fell out and needs redone. Dr wheeler was the best!!

I've gone to Dr. Wheeler now multiple times over the years. Completely professional, completely honest. --Completely fair. Biological systems are complex, and unpredictable, but you'll get an honest evaluation recommendation from him. One recent tooth, he told me, you've waited too long; this will likely need an implant. On a previous event, he'd placed a temporary crown, after his work, counseling me to go and get the permanent crown. I didn't; and six months later bit down on a nut and cracked crown and tooth. That's entirely my fault; temporary crowns are... temporary. But he was honest and forthcoming through the whole event. One of my early visits to him, now several years ago, pain was so bad in the middle of the night (and why is it always on a weekend), he saw me in his office on a normally closed Sunday. I trust this doctor with my health like I trust few others. And regarding the naysayers, there's always a back story.

Caring & reassuring Dr. who explained the procedure, answered my questions, & followed up. Had a successful pain free procedure.

Referred to by a well respected dentist in the area. Dr took time to explain the procedure in detail & answer all my questions. He made sure I was comfortable & had a successful pain free procedure. Genuinely cares about the patient.

Very satisfied with visit. I was experiencing severe tooth pain over the last month and have seen a dentist and an oral surgeon. An endodontic appointment was hard to get to be seen earlier rather than later. I called today, got in today, and had a root canal. Thank you so much, to him and his caring staff. You were a lifesaver for someone who was in a lot of pain.
